INGREDIENTS:
- SOYA CHUNKS (70G)
- OIL (1 TBSP)
- GINGER GARLIC PASTE (1 TBSP)
- GREEN CHILLIES (AS PER TASTE)
- SCHEZWAN SAUCE (1 TBSP)
- SOY SAUCE (1-2 TBSP)
- VEGGIES (ONION, TOMATO, CAPSICUM ETC)
- SPICE MIX- 1 TSP (RED CHILLI POWDER, CORIANDER POWDER, CUMIN POWDER, SALT, PEPPER)
- COOKED RICE (80G)
- CORIANDER
1] START BY BOILING YOUR SOYA CHUNKS FOR 7-8 MINUTES. ONCE THEY ARE COOKED, DRAIN OUT THE EXCESS WATER FROM THEM AND SET THEM ASIDE.
2] ADD 1 TBSP OF OIL INTO A PAN ALONG WITH YOUR GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND GREEN CHILLIES AND SAUTE THIS FOR 1-2 MINUTES. ADD YOUR VEGGIES INTO THIS ALONG WITH THE SCHEZWAN SAUCE, SOY SAUCE AND STIR FRY FOR 3-4 MINUTES.
3] ADD YOUR SOYA CHUNKS INTO THE PAN AND SEASON IT WITH THE SPICE MIX MENTIONED ABOVE. FINALLY ADD YOUR COOKED RICE INTO THIS AND STIR IT ALL UP.
4] TRANSFER THIS INTO A BOWL, TOP IT OFF WITH SOME CHOPPED CORIANDER AND RELISH THIS HEARTY MEAL!!!
ALTERNATIVE:
USE 100G OF CHICKEN BREAST INSTEAD OF THE SOYA CHUNKS. SEASON YOUR CHICKEN WITH 1 TSP (RED CHILLI POWDER, CORIANDER POWDER, CUMIN POWDER, SALT, PEPPER) AND ADD IT INTO THE PAN AFTER SAUTE-ING YOUR GINGER GARLIC PASTE AND GREEN CHILLIES AND LET IT COOK FOR 8-10 MINUTES ON A MEDIUM FLAME. AFTER YOUR CHICKEN IS COOKED, ADD YOUR VEGGIES INTO THE PAN ALONG WITH THE SCHEZWAN SAUCE AND SOY SAUCE AND STIR FRY FOR A FEW MINUTES.FINALLY, ADD YOUR RICE INTO THIS AND MIX IT ALL UP.
